Washington Cancer Impact Foundation acts as the Program Administrator for the Andy Hill Cancer Research Endowment (CARE Fund), a public/private partnership dedicated to the promotion of cancer research across Washington State. In this role, WCIF provides essential administrative, financial, and operational infrastructure, ensuring the CARE Fund’s continued impact.
Peter Choi brings a wealth of experience to this position, having held various leadership roles with the CARE Fund since 2017. For the past three years, he has served as Director of Program Design and Evaluation, where he led the development and implementation of grant programs and special initiatives to accelerate cancer research in Washington. Before joining the CARE Fund, Mr. Choi built a career in public health, working both at a state health department and internationally. He holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington.
